Melodía D’Amour (she/they) is a nuevo méxicana born and raised on the lands of the Tewa Peoples. She is a Master of Social Work student at New Mexico Highlands University passionate about supporting individuals through chronic stress, depression, life transitions, grief and loss using relational group work and horticultural therapies. 

Mel aspires to provide care that prioritizes empowerment, cultural relevance, and the interconnectedness of individual and collective well-being. As a life-long student of art, ecology, bioregional folk medicines and mycology she aspires to blend these ways of knowing with evidence-based, integrative and trauma-informed approaches to support and encourage client’s curiosity, creative expression, self-reflection, and growth.
