Angie graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. She has over a decade of experience in the helping field and especially working with youth ages five to twenty. Angie specializes in EMDR and trauma-informed care and truly delights in building therapeutic relationships that bring emotional safety and unconditional positive regard into her clients’ lives. She has a deep passion for helping people heal traumatic memories and shift maladaptive behavioral and thinking patterns using a client-centered approach, recognizing that the client is the expert within their life. When Angie is not helping clients, she is an avid console and PC gamer who enjoys lazy, self-care weekends with her partner, her Tortoiseshell cat, Squid, and her two tree frogs, Toast and Lunchbox. She also loves exploring new places in ABQ and across NM as well as trying new restaurants and breweries.
