Stacia (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) who has worked with families and individuals across the lifespan. Stacia incorporates mindfulness, strengths based, trauma informed and somatic strategies in her work and is trained in EMDR. Stacia is a graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in Women’s Studies and has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. Stacia has worked in many Social Work capacities including harm reduction, case management, administration and is an NM board approved supervisor. Additionally, Stacia enjoys supporting new Social Workers on their path as Contingent Faculty at the Facundo Valdez School of Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University.
Stacia is passionate about helping people cultivate a deeper sense of joy, meaning, and connection in their daily lives. Outside of her practice, she finds her own balance through reading, baking, gardening, skiing, and traveling. She is also a regular practitioner of hot yoga, finding peace and presence on the mat.
