Jaleesa O’Banner, LMSW earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Salisbury University while living overseas as a military spouse and completed her Master of Social Work at Western New Mexico University. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, parenting concerns, and relationship challenges.

Jaleesa believes therapy should be a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. She values meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and build resilience through life’s challenges. Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, and she has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

As a military spouse and mother, Jaleesa understands the unique challenges that can come with balancing multiple roles, adapting to change, and navigating life’s unexpected transitions. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where clients feel respected, supported, and encouraged as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Outside of work, Jaleesa enjoys distance running, CrossFit, traveling, reading, spending time with her family, and exploring the outdoors.
