Salary Range: $48,000–$58,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Community Support Worker based in Otero County who is passionate about helping others and knows their community’s strengths and challenges. This role supports justice-impacted, involved, and at-risk youth, adults, and families through hands-on, community-centered behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive services to clients in home and community environments.
  • Build strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and organizations to coordinate services.
  • Empower clients through education, life skills, and resource navigation.
  • Participate in weekly tele-supervision with a supervisor based in Bernalillo County.
  • Attend monthly in-person meetings with Meridian’s Lead Team in Otero County.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation per agency and Medicaid standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health, community work, or social services preferred.
  • Knowledge of Otero County community resources.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
