Melodía D’Amour (she/they) is a nuevo méxicana born and raised on the lands of the Tewa Peoples. She is a Masters in Social Work student at New Mexico Highlands University passionate about supporting individuals through grief and loss, relational group work, and horticulture therapies. Mel aspires to provide care that prioritizes empowerment, cultural relevance, and the interconnectedness of individual and collective well-being. As a life-long student of curanderismo and mycology she hopes to eventually blend these perspectives with evidence-based, integrative and trauma-informed approaches to support and encourage client’s curiosity, creative expression, self-reflection, and growth.
